S.H.A.R.E.S. Cards - Ongoing
For those that shop Savemart, SmartFoods, FoodMaxx and Lucky, just by swiping your SHARES card
before your transaction is tended the above stores give H.A.R.P. up to 3% of your receipt total.
The above stores have set aside over $4 million to donate to organizations like H.A.R.P.
No personal info. needed, they just track purchases with the card. Use it every time you shop!!

3rd Annual Delta Dinner Cruise, by Delta Discovery Cruises
Sunday August 15th 5:30pm-8:00pm
H.A.R.P. and Delta Discovery Cruises are hosting a relaxing sunset dinner cruise, Sunday August 15th. You may check in at 5:30 and enjoy the view from the top deck of the Island Serenade with a cocktail from the no-host bar. The beautiful boat will leave the Pittsburg Marina at 6:00. A gourmet dinner will be served. Menu choices are filet mignon, chicken marsala and vegetarian pasta.
The cruise is a fundraiser for the Homeless Animals Response Program (H.A.R.P.). Tickets are $55 and must be paid in advance. The money raised will pay for veterinary and foster care for the dogs and kittens that H.A.R.P. rescues. H.A.R.P. has rehomed about 800 dogs and cats in the past 4 years. The organization is 100% volunteer with no rent and no salaries. All funds go to the care of the animals and community education programs. The economic situation in far East Contra Costa County, which is home to H.A.R.P., has caused an upsurge in requests from the community for assistance. This fundraiser is crucial to raise additional funds to help distressed homeowners.
